I wanted to take a moment to talk about one of the better podcasts I've come across when learning the best way to build a fictional world. Hosted by Jeffery W. Ingram (@JefferyWIngram), Worldbuilder's Anvil covers a variety of topics of interest for anyone looking to start creating a living, breathing, fictional world.
Before going off to college, Fiesta Studios was formed by myself and my good friends James and Justin. The whole idea was to simply make funny videos that we could share with friends. One of my favorite videos made by us was a video called "Todd", in which James was supposed to take care of this egg as if it was a child.
As described in the Scrum Guide, the Daily Scrum is a 15-minute time-boxed (max time allowed) event for the Development Team to synchronize activities and create a plan for the next 24 hours. This optimizes team collaboration and performance by inspecting the work since the last Daily Scrum and forecasting upcoming Sprint work.
Behold the opening sentence or group of sentences that draws the reader's attention using vivid imagery and action verbs. If used correctly, the second sentence or group continues the same energy as the first sentence, while gently leading the reader toward the ultimate goal of the first paragraph or group of paragraphs: pushing the reader to the thesis of the essay while getting them to buy in early to what profound thing will be stated in terms the target audience can easily understand.
