This week's throwback video comes to us from the Rob Banks series of videos we did, where we stuck Danny in front of a green screen and just pitched him ideas to rant about for a few hours at a time.

(Video) #TBT – “Will You Marry Me?
This is the video that started Fiesta Studios. I really don't know where the idea came from, aside from the fact that I thought it would be funny to improvise some reactions from James because I thought he was a pretty funny dude. His dad walked in at one point, so we had to explain to him what we were doing. Sometimes you just have an idea and you have to do it, not thinking of any kind of scrutiny that might be involved. For some people, that's the mark of their genius. For us, it was... whatever this is. Still, a lot of fun, and I deliberately re-used the format when I rebooted Fiesta Studios with Andy and Danny years later.
#TBT – “MythBOINKERS”
Here's a sequel to the first video that James, Justin and I did called Myth Crackers. This was a lot of fun to do, and this kind of thing was just how our friendship was back in the day. There's a bit of an awkward silence in part of the video, and that's because back then I used the Pee Wee's Playhouse theme by Danny Elfman in this video, and Youtube decided to remove that track from the video. Enjoy six minutes and 23 seconds of us at our goofiest.
#TBT – “Battle Royale”
Back in the day, I used to be able to get a whole bunch of my friends together all at once to film a video, no matter how stupid the idea was. So many friends who were willing to come over on a Friday night to make a dumb video - now that was a great time. The only other time I have managed to do that is during the 2015 season. Maybe after the time of COVID-19 is over, we will need to have a bit of a resurgence.
#TBT – Public Service Announcement
So, as mentioned in the video, there was a short period of time during the productive time of making YouTube videos in high school that James got injured and couldn't be a part of any videos. Unfortunately, I can't link all of the videos that followed in that sequence because YouTube decided to kill the audio on two of them. I used copyrighted songs on those videos, and some time after these videos were published and the original footage was lost, they decided to just remove all of the audio from the video. The biggest loss from that was a video called "Friend Auditions" where we auditioned a bunch of our other friends out to replace James in the videos. The winner that Justin and I picked ended up being a shop vac. I'll link the one surviving video next week for that reference.
