Hey folks.
I’ve returned from my long hiatus. It took me a long time to get my hosting set back up, but I’ve come back with good news.
First, I freshened up the look of the site. The old one was fine, but I didn’t like the way it felt coming back into it. The new look is here to help give the site better direction and a professional look, while still being true to who I am.
My goals with the revamped site are to:
A) Continue to expand upon the world of Caelon and its vast history. I’ve had a long time to think about it.
B) Talk more about the processes of writing and not as much on the teaching aspect.
C) Add in Agile-related posts. I’m a bona fide Scrum Master now and I have learned a lot about Agile and Scrum in the interim since my last post. I think it’s only fair to talk about that as well. After all, Agile methodologies can apply to every part of our lives – including writing books. What better a place to write about these things than a blog called “Thought Backlog”?
Ok, that’s all for now…
…oh yeah! – Did I mention I finally finished my book? I’ve even gotten the book into the hands of some of the greatest people I know and so far the feedback has been excellent. Now it’s time to work on getting an agent and selling the book. That’s a whole other challenge.
I’ve also begun writing my second book in the series, and I’ve already gotten the outline to a point that I’m excited to get the opportunity to continue the story.
Thanks all!
Whoo hoo! How awesome, Andrew. I’m excited to read all your blog posts again. You’re a great writer!
